The Caustic & Chlorine plant uses membranes technology to produce 388 metric tons of chlorine and 438 metric tons of caustic per day at 100% capacity. 

 

Besides, the plant produces as a byproduct hydrochloric acid in a HCl synthesis unit of 100 metric tons daily at maximum capacity. Also it's produced sodium hypochlorite up to 13 TMD.

 

The process uses salt (sodium chloride) as raw material and it's consumed about 200 TMD.

 

The membrane cell electrolyzers technoloy is by Eltech and are operated under a slight positive pressure.
